Makoto Sacramento,  CA Very impressed with this jacket I bought this jacket, knowing that I live in a location that I see anything from extreme rains and winds in the winter to 100+ heatwaves in the summer. Within that, each day tends to have horrible temperature swings from morning to noon to night. Removing the exterior armor on the arms and chest/back keeps me as cool as possible on those hot days, yet I still feel safe with the snug fit CE approved elbow pads and back pad. On those cold summer nights, I occasionally use the outer layers for warmth. I finally had the chance to use it in the rain and unfortunately I had to use the inner rain liner to keep my laptop and backpack dry, but it DID do the job in keeping my bag dry. I find this jacket to be well worth the money and I am extremely happy I bought it. My only complaint is that I bought a medium size and the chest feels slightly tight, but nothing too bad. I am 6ft even, approximately 160 lbs with an average build and the medium size works for me. I wanted it slightly tight, but I did try on a large at a local store and it felt too lose. Buy this jacket and you wont be disappointed.

Brent Saco,  ME Awesome Jacket I am a first time biker, so I went all out. It paid off, this jacket rocks!! I have yet to ride in the rain, hopefully I won't have to. Great features, lot of pockets great fit and it looks great. I also hope that I will not have to test out the body armor, but it seems rugged and will do the job when needed. Worth EVERY PENNY

Mike Kirkland,  WA Good jacket I am 6-0 and 180 lbs. I purchased a "large." This jacket fits well and is comfortable. I had to have the velcro strip on the cuffs re-stitched, as they pulled apart from the jacket after only a couple of weeks. Aside from that, the quality is good and worth the money.

Took off the sleeves and shell today; to ride in 90+ degrees. Jacket remained comfortable and allowed me to be as cool as 90+ high humidity would allow. This is a very versatile jacket. Nice Product. Dave Pitt Vancouver,  BC Alter Ego 2.0 I bought my Alter Ego 2.0 last spring. It’s perfect for all riding. When it’s cold it has a water proof liner than blocks the wind from getting in as well as the water. It dries in less than an hour when hung up. The pockets are a decent size which is hard to find and you can store the liner in a bag that Velcro’s inside the jacket. You can take the sleeves off and more than half the shell to reveal a mesh jacket that looks good in the sun. And the mesh jacket has separate pockets from the shell so you have 5 pockets when its all together. the sleeves will fit in the under seat of most sport bikes, so you don’t need a tank bag or side bags to cool off when you realize you’ve left the house with too much jacket. It also has great vents in the shoulders. Well worth the money, and its not even a high priced jacket.

Danny Sears Mesa,  AZ Alter Ego 2.0 Jacket I've had my Alter Ego for nearly five years and have worn it 90 percent of the time. I really like how versatile it is with removable outer shell to make it a well protected armor jacket. Or, leaving the shell on with the waterproof liner zipped in makes you a very nice cool day jacket. I live in Arizona, so it’s a perfect jacket for my needs here. When this one wears out, I hope they are still being made, because I will definitely buy another. I'm going to order the pants to go with the jacket which will give me a versatile riding suit. Very pleased with how long it has lasted and how versatile it is.

Tom Easton,  PA Great Jacket For the Girlfriend I bought this jacket for my girlfriend so she can ride on the back of my R6. Fits on her excellent. It has ALOT of zippers/buttons, so it does get to be a bit of a pain to switch from the light jacket to heavy one. The light jacket seems too light, in that it probably won't protect you much (if that's what one of your criteria is). With all that said, it's a great jacket overall.
