Harold Spilker Ashburn,  VA Vega - Mach 1 Solid Helmet I've enjoyed my new helmet greatly, although getting accustomed to the wrap around feature of a full coverage helmet took awhile. I bought a three-quarter helmet when I first began riding in June of this year and thought I'd try a full coverage. Took some adjustment, particularly with regard to peripheral vision issues, but I have been able to transition with a little extra effort. The helmet fits well, keeps debris (bugs and assorted dirt and small stones)from hitting me, and allows a nice flow of air through the helmet. This was a good purchase provided I never have to test out if it will really protect my head. Hopefully, price is not a direct indicator of protective ability of a helmet.
