monnolith Vancouver,  BC Tough and sexy When I ordered these bad boys online, I barely had enough time to log off my computer before the delivery guy was banging on my door with them - the delivery time was that fast! Anyway, they're tough and sexy looking, and not at all clunky. I'm a big guy, so they look and feel like regular sport hikers/light work boots on my feet. There's enough ankle flexibility for me to maneuver comfortably both on and off my bike. And as far as the pinch points inside, I've just doubled up on my socks and I'm good to go. Overall, a great product at a great price!

Jack Hockett Lakewood,  WA Big Bang Boots They came on time, they fit like a glove. They are waterproof and the leather strap and buckle really come in handy for lashing down the shoestrings and keeping them from flopping around and coming untied. Besides, it looks great too! I'd buy from them again!

Garrett Salisbury Mills,  NY Heavy Duty : Good Looks I purchased these because I wanted something that would protect my ankles but not look or feel awkward while riding or in the local cafe. When I got them they made my heels blister up twice (no pain, no gain because now they fit great). They will stain socks especially when they get wet as do a lot of “black” Joe Rocket products (must be a dye issue). The straps are super-cool and these boots have been scraped and had chemicals spill on them from various lab experiments and they are still holding up strong. They are also made of a heavy construction. I'm very happy with them.

Ray Hazel Green,  AL These are *BIG* boots I ordered these for street riding, and figured they'd fit the bill for wearing with jeans. My Oxtars are squeaky, and look a bit out of place in the office. Let me say that these boots seem to be well made, and have reflective dots on the back for safety. Their only downfall is they are very wide. They fit my foot, but I call these 'moon boots' because they are huge. I have not worn them to work as a result.

Ronnie High Point,  NC Ugly Bang Boots When I first saw these boots over the internet I thought they looked ok. But as soon as they arrived and I took a good long look at them and was very disappointed. First the style looked like a snow skiing boot. They fit my foot ok but that was it. The features of the boot like the buckle still made me think I was getting ready for a trip to the mountains to go skiing. Way to Big and Bulky for what I was looking for in a good riding boot. I wanted a little more streamed line and less weight boot and these were not the ones.

Cory Ooltewah,  TN Good look, affordable price Overall, these boots deliver good style and protection. They are my first pair of riding boots so I don't have anything to compare them to, but they seem pretty comfortable - even enough to walk around the mall for a bit. Expect the heels of your socks to be black after wearing them for the first dozen times or so. You might consider wearing only dark socks at first.

Scott Ort Great Meadows,  NJ Joe Rocket Big Bang Boots The boots were very stiff when I received them and I was afraid they would take a long time to break in, but I was very surprised that after wearing them for only two days they became very comfortable. They give my feet a lot of support when riding my bike. I got stuck in a down poor the second day I wore them and it was the only part of my body that was dry when I got home, it was awesome!!!! Over all I love the boots and I think they look great.
