Ryan Liberty Twp,  OH A good lid I ordered my helmet using the HJC's measurement scale. I was just about outside the upper mark to move to a larger size, but below the next larger size's lower mark, so I went with the smaller size. I've learned that the padding in helmets will form to your head, so I felt it better to get a lid that fits tight. Well, it did hurt the first day of riding, on and off for 6 hours. The next day, it got better and has ever since. I still feel I could've done well with the next larger size, but I am comfortable in the size I chose. Recommend that if you are on the border of sizes, think about moving up one if you aren't in the mood to break it in.

Steve Jennings Allen,  TX HJC CL-SP APex Helmet This is an excellent helmet. It fits my fat head like a glove. It has a glossy finish. They don't say that in the description, and I wondered about this since some of their helmets are flat finish. The top vents work pretty good, however, the mouth vent doesn't seem to change the airflow that much. The design seems pretty cool.

Crazyfamily Anytown,  TX Huge Value I have had several different high end helmets and this HJC Apex stands tall right with every one of them! It is very comfortable, does have slight wind noise that others have complained about however for the money this can very quickly be overlooked. You can not really say, "hey what do you want for less then $200 in a helmet" because this helmet is nothing that you would expect in a less then $200 helmet. Comfort, very stylish, trendy, graphics are high class and so is the fit and finish. H
