Firstgear Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket

Nothing represents the versatility of textile jackets better than mesh. The fabric’s ability to provide loads of cooling airflow, while in the midst of a heat wave, without compromising safety is a quality no other jacket can boast. With mesh, there are no reasons for you to ride without protection no matter how hot the temperature. This is the third incarnation of Firstgear’s ever-popular Mesh-Tex jacket. Maximum airflow is the result of the Mesh-Tex’s perforated nylon lining and polyester mesh shell. If temperatures cool down, the Mesh-Tex has a full-sleeve windproof liner that can be installed.

Paul Hollerbach Riverside,  NJ Firstgear - Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket Great fit, I'm tall and have long arms, so this is critical, fine finish, stitching is first-rate, and the liner provides just enough insulation for late-day / early-morning riding. Sleeve cuffs seal well, zipper and neck closure are what they ought to be, as are pockets. All in all, a comfortable, well-designed and constructed jacket; I chose yellow to match my bike and for the visibility. I recommend it. I have their rain suit, too, so I'm not surprised.

Andrew Bay Saint Louis,  MS Great Jacket for the Money Title pretty much says it all. I do find that the liner does not help out a lot for cooler weather, but I bought the jacket a bit large so I could put a jacket under it. Very happy with fit, durability, finish and appearance. Only one minor complaint -- the collar is a bit scratchy around my neck.

Bob C. Maylene,  AL Great Jacket The jacket is everything that its suppose to be. Here in central Alabama, it’s cool in the morning when going to work, and warm in the early evening when going home. With the liner in the jacket, its working fine with the morning temperatures in the low 50's and in the low 70's going home I pull the liner out and stick it in the saddlebag. So far, so good.

Al Sinclair Rock Hill,  SC Firstgear-Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket A good buy for the money. I'm 6'-0" @ 185 Lbs. and the large size fit me real good in the body, except the length of jacket and sleeves could have been a little longer. I wish it had been available in a tall size. The shoulder pads are a bit bulky, although they can be removed. The mesh material really lets the air flow through.

Francis Dacanay Plant City,  FL Firstgear Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket This is an excellent jacket it definitely keeps you cool here in the Florida heat. Fit was just right took a chance on the size but the charts were right on. Cost was just right for the jacket especially when on a budget.

jose asheville,  NC first gear mesh-tex 3.o jacket The zipper of the liner broke the second time I wore it. The zipper of the shell also got off sequence, sadly in the middle of a ride. Very disappointing.

Bill Splob Bear,  DE IT Tight!!!!!!!!! Its a good look for my bike Kaw...ZX14. The Coat fit fine, its an old school look that people like to see. The price is right too. I will buy again soon. So check one out and you will see how it will make you feel!

Bill Okanogan,  WA Firstgear - Mesh-Tex 3.0 Jacket Firstgear is great stuff. I love the mesh jacket and also have the mesh pants that zip onto the jacket. This is a perfect outfit for my enduro summer riding. I also use it in the fall with some long underwear and the zip-in liner for the jacket.
